JOYburg - vision

this city transformation initiative was conceived in 2011...

... and the JOYburg Trademark was secured in May 2014.


Working with The City of Joburg, radio and television stations, newspapers, magazines, advertising and public relations agencies, churches, corporations, schools and other organisations, we plan to transform our city into 'JOYburg... the City of JOY'!


The headline in the Saturday Star newspaper on 27 August 2011 was 'BATTLEFIELD JOBURG'! It is enough! Together we can make the difference! Together… let us declare and celebrate this new season in JOYburg.


Today JOYburg - tomorrow your city or town... and the world. This is just the beginning of the JOY Revolution! YAY!


The goal is to have more and more people making declarations over this city - using the JOYburg Manifesto… every day of the week... declaring aloud, with passion and purpose… JOYburg is a city of JOY (of love, peace, hope)!


And as the advert goes (giving honour and thanks to Hunters Gold!)… if you tell all your friends… and your friends tell all their friends… and their friends tell all their friends... we will reach a tipping point and see the change, transforming this City of Gold into the City of JOY!
